System Dynamics Hackathons

A hackathon, according to Wikipedia, is a design sprint-like event; often, in which computer programmers and others involved in software development, including graphic designers, interface designers, project managers, domain experts, and others. In collaboration with the System Dynamics Society, I have started a series of hackathons in System Dynamics! During these hackathons, teams around the globe work in short bursts to address real world challenges. Competitors build relationships with other practitioners while generating insights for sponsor organizations. The most successful teams bring home prize money and the potential for future work with the sponsoring organization.
